How do I size the door?
The width of the chest plus a few fingers, and about three quarters of the height at the shoulder. For a cat, about 6 1/4" wide and 8" high (160 by 200 mm).
What material should I use outdoors?
Marine or phenolic plywood, with every edge sealed. MDF and particleboard swell with the first rain.
How do I clean it?
Leave the roof tenons without glue and the whole roof lifts off in one piece. Glue them if you want it fixed.
Is it a certified product?
No. These are plans, not a certified product. Sand the door edge well, seal and finish it, and check that it suits your pet.
Which software opens the DXF?
Any CAM program that reads DXF, such as VCarve, Aspire, Fusion, Alphacam or Mach-compatible tools. Outside cuts, inside cuts and dog-bones are on separate layers, and the files are generated at real size.
