      Questions

      What material should I use?

Birch plywood or similar, not MDF. Glue all the tenons: a chair takes a lot more stress than a table.

      What backrest angle is best?

Between 6 and 10° is the most comfortable for eating and lingering at the table.

Is it strong enough for daily use?

Glue all the tenons and clamp until dry. For daily use, a screw from the inside into each slat tenon will add years of life.

      Which software opens the DXF?

Any CAM program that reads DXF, such as VCarve, Aspire, Fusion, Alphacam or Mach-compatible tools. Outside cuts, inside cuts and dog-bones are on separate layers, and the files are generated at real size.
