Standing desk

A standing desk set to your elbows. The back apron and the wedged low stretcher keep a tall desk from wobbling, and the stretcher doubles as a foot rest so you can shift your weight.

      Questions

      What height should I choose?

Set the top at the height of your elbows, with your arms relaxed and your forearms level.

Why does it have a low stretcher?

On a tall desk it is what stops the wobble. At about 6–8" off the floor it also gives you somewhere to rest a foot.

      Which software opens the DXF?

Any CAM program that reads DXF, such as VCarve, Aspire, Fusion, Alphacam or Mach-compatible tools. Outside cuts, inside cuts and dog-bones are on separate layers, and the files are generated at real size.
